Golin Germany wins HACHEZ

The first customer for newly established agency with an integrated offering of PR, Digital, Content and Advertising

Just a few weeks after the start of Golin Germany, the agency reported HACHEZ as being their first customer. After strategic conversations, the chocolate manufacturer from Bremen, Germany, has commissioned the agency to do their brand and product PR. As their first project, Golin will be responsible for communicating the product introduction of the four new origin varieties PAPUA NEUGUINEA 34%, VENEZUELA 43%, ECUADOR 58% and SĂO TOMÉ 73%.

Since the company’s founding in 1860 by chocolatier Joseph Emile HACHEZ, a native of Belgium, the production process still follows the original recipes. For 126 years, at HACHEZ all steps – from processing the cacao bean to completion – have been taking place under one roof according to the traditional manufacturing process. Thus, HACHEZ is the only premium manufacturer in Germany that still offers all of the manufacturing processes under its own roof. The four new origin chocolate varieties process the finest cacao beans from their respective countries of origin.

It will be Golin Germany’s task to communicate the premium claim of the Bremen chocolate manufacturer and the uniqueness of their products. Therefore, Golin Germany will link classic brand and PR concepts with Word-of-Mouth (WOM), influencer marketing and consumer promotions.

In early April, Golin Germany started as a joint venture with GGH MullenLowe and an integrated offering of PR, Digital, Content and Advertising. Uta Behnke, longstanding Site Manager of Edelman Hamburg, is responsible for the development and expansion of Golin Germany.
