Golin Appoints Neera Chaudhary As Global President of Healthcare

Chaudhary to oversee both Golin Health and Virgo Health brands globally

NEW YORK (June 1, 2017) – Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) agency Golin just announced Neera Chaudhary as the global president of healthcare, officially beginning the role this past Tuesday, May 30, in Golin’s New York office. Neera reports to Matt Neale, CEO+ Vision, and will work closely with Jon Hughes, CEO+ International, to operationalize healthcare around the world.

Neera will champion both Golin Health and Virgo Health brands, working in lockstep with Sarah Matthew – current global president of Golin’s Healthcare Practice and Virgo Health, who now moves to the role of chair. Neera will also serve on the agency’s executive board, the group responsible for developing the long-term vision for Golin.

In a discipline ripe for disruption and innovation, Neera has been a change agent on the cutting edge of award-winning healthcare campaigns for blockbuster drugs and disease awareness. As a medical professional with advanced degrees in healthcare, she is uniquely attune to the communication currencies needed to reach patients, providers, payers and policymakers while navigating the regulatory environment. Clients have relied on her transformative thinking that is rooted in high science, technology and big data combined with her visual esthetic and inventive storytelling approach to ultimately improve the lives of patients.

Prior to Golin, Neera was the Executive Creative Strategist of the Healthcare Practice at Cohn & Wolfe, leading strategy and creative for healthcare clients across the agency. Her client roster spans companies and brands in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, specialty pharma, medical devices, health technology and consumer health.

Neera is a Registered Dietitian with a Masters of Health Science in Public Health and training towards a Doctorate in Human Nutrition, both from the University of Toronto.
