Margenett is Golin’s first Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer. Prior to joining Golin, Margenett served as Yahoo’s first Global Head of Inclusive Diversity, successfully elevating Inclusion as a critical initiative for the web services giant. As part of this role, she drove the development of the company’s corporate perspective on inclusion & diversity and became a leading voice in the company’s position on challenging social and legal topics.
Additionally, Margenett represented Yahoo at national events and conferences, including the White House Conference on Inclusive STEM Education, the Watermark Conference for Women and more. Her perspective was featured in digital publications, including TechCrunch, the Huffington Post, BBC Worldwide (London) and Tech Diversity Magazine.
Margenett has a proven track record for developing business-focused inclusion strategies and facilitating transformation tied to strategic goals. Her career has spanned several industries with leadership roles across Sales, Operations, Strategy and Human Resources. Before leading Golin’s Inclusion & Diversity efforts, Margenett spent the early part of her tenure at Yahoo building the company’s first video advertising and video content syndication networks, two businesses that generated close to $100M in revenues.

Margenett is a certified thespian, Ohio State Buckeye, granddaughter of a coal miner and was temporarily the owner of a bright yellow & red Harley Davidson motorcycle – it was sweeeet!
