Delighted to be awarded the Best Internship Programme at the PR Internships Awards for the second year running. The awards, run by the PRCA and PRWeek UK, celebrate the best internships and interns in UK comms. Our London team were particularly singled out for the Golin B&B initiative, announced in January, where new interns are housed rent-free in London Zones One and Two for their first month and offered an interest-free loan to help with the deposit and first rent payment on subsequent accommodation.
Entries were whittled down to a shortlist via a paper judging process, which was followed by panel sessions with the judges.
PRCA director general Francis Ingham said: “This is the third year we are running the PR Internships Awards and I would like to thank everyone for participating in this year’s awards. As always the standard of entries was extremely high so congratulations to the winners.
“Improving diversity across the industry is a key campaigning priority for the PRCA and we want to see more organisations offering structured and engaging internships to young people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.”
The awards celebrate the PRWeek/PRCA PR Internships For All initiative, which was launched in our offices in 2014 to lead a concerted drive to bring more young people from diverse backgrounds into the PR profession at entry level.
