Golin is delighted to announce that London managing director, Bibi Hilton, is today named in the 2017 Power Part Time List: the UK’s top 50 men and women who work in senior, business-critical roles, all on less than five days per week.
“The Power Part Time List plays such a vital role in challenging what it means to work part time. It is a huge compliment personally and I hope my place on the List encourages more people in our industry to open their doors to talented people, regardless of the hours they need to work,” said Bibi Hilton, Golin MD.
The 2017 Power Part Time list – now in its fifth year – is compiled annually by Timewise Joint CEOs and co-founders Karen Mattison MBE and Emma Stewart MBE, to create more role models, debunk the myth that you cannot deliver in a top job in less than full time hours, and change the conversation on how businesses recruit senior talent.
On this year’s list, more than half of the business men and women were recruited into their roles on a part time basis.
“Golin is a very progressive employer and we are proud of our flexible working policy. All of our initiatives are focused on offering our people and those we want to work with more flexibility in how and when they work, when they go on holiday and how they build their careers. Last year 100% of our mums returned to us from maternity leave, 12% of our team currently has formal flexible working arrangements and 50% of our executive team are working parents with flexible hours. All of our new roles are also advertised as open to flexible terms.”
Since returning from maternity leave in 2015, Bibi works a four day week in the office. During this time, the agency has consistently shown impressive growth and frequently wins awards for its brave, bold work as well as its commitment to its employees. She has also driven forward Golin’s supportive, flexible, progressive culture for all staff, but especially for working parents.
“The key to making my office hours work is prioritizing office time for critical activities that have a real impact on the business and trusting the team to do what’s needed in my absence,” said Bibi.
Timewise Joint CEO and judge Karen Mattison MBE, added: “Bibi Hilton and all winners from our top 50 represent how work in the UK is changing, and offers us a glimpse into how jobs will be designed in the future.”
“For Golin, the flexible economy represents a huge opportunity to access the best talent,” added Bibi.
