Corporate Communications Account Directors (x 2)

The Roles

The PRCA’s Large Agency of the Year is looking for two talented individuals with a passion for corporate communications to join its b2b practice.  This is an opportunity for an experienced account director (senior manager) with around 5 years’ experience to join a progressive, industry-beating team. Candidates with experience working in the media are encouraged.

 Clients may include; EY, Adobe, RB and IAG.

Role One

We need a self-starter who is laser focused on building excellent relationships with clients and who can drive powerful integrated programmes that make a tangible  difference to a client’s business. The candidate would be the day-to-day lead for accounts across a variety of industries including healthcare; professional services; technology and transport. In addition to superb client handling skills, the successful candidate will also need to be a consummate media operator with a nose for a strong story and excellent corporate media contacts.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Providing expert client counsel, managing client expectations against results, troubleshooting and ensuring flawless execution of day-to-day client activities
  • Managing the client budget
  • Be heavily involved in managing daily client communications and reporting on industry developments, programme results, progress against KPIs
  • Implementing integrated marketing programmes, across both social and digital channels
  • Maintaining a strong contacts books selling in stories and seeking out client opportunities
  • Identifying and leading on news hijacking opportunities on a daily basis
  • Writing and fine-tuning pitches and media materials

 

Role Two

We’re looking for someone who is expert at building great relationships with clients and the media and who can keep a cool head in a crisis. Experience in managing crisis communications programmes in any sector is essential and healthcare experience would be ideal. The candidate will be the day-to-day lead across their FMCG-focused portfolio and needs to be happy taking responsibility for growing his/ her accounts with the support of the wider agency team.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert client counsel, managing client expectations against results, troubleshooting and ensuring flawless execution of day-to-day client activities
  • Managing crisis comms programme with support from the wider agency – from managing crisis preparedness sessions to being the point of call for media enquiries
  • Managing the client budget
  • Implementing integrated marketing programmes, across both social and digital channels
  • Be heavily involved in managing daily client communications and reporting on industry developments, programme results, progress against KPIs
  • Maintaining a strong contacts books selling in stories and seeking out client opportunities
  • Identifying and leading on news hijacking opportunities on a daily basis
  • Writing and fine-tuning pitches and media materials

Clients may include; Capri Sun, RB and others.
