Senior Integrated Communications Specialist

Who I am: 

I am an experienced integrated communications specialist with in-depth understanding of content and social channels in particular, and the role of these within a 360 campaign plan. I am well versed in directing and managing a team of Account Handlers, Editorial Managers, Strategists and Creatives to deliver world class content work for Global brands across multiple sectors.

I am an expert Senior Account Handler, a persuasive & influential client consultant, who is able to clearly explain strategies and creative solutions and oversee the execution of these by internal and external teams.

I have experience working within integrated and digital agencies, a thorough understanding of paid, owned and earned media, expertise in influencer marketing and the use of tools and systems to inform and measure success.

Knowledge & Skills:



  • Be well-versed in business and brands across multiple sectors including FMCG, Technology, B2B and Transport
  • Experience working with Asia-owned brands, understanding culture and trends
  • Experience in Global, EMEA and local market management and relationship building – both working as the global agency and working with other global agencies
  • Understanding of how clients measure the health of their business and how they measure success of communication and marketing programs
  • The ability to lead strategy & creative teams to deliver integrated communication plans and review all type of output with a critical eye, providing trusted client consultancy
  • Have a strong knowledge of data/analytics and understand how to apply it to client problem-solving
  • Experience of sales-enablement programs including Golin’s Sales Accelerator
  • Have or the have ability to quickly build working knowledge of the agency’s proprietary tools (including digital offerings)
  • Management experience and evidence of expertise and career development for Manager-level and below staff, as well as experience in team and resource planning
  • Ability to effectively forecast and help to identify resources to fulfill short-term and long-term client needs
  • Ability to develop scope of work budgets and monitor spend to ensure work is within budget scope across a team
  • Solid understanding of financial processes and impact of these across a team, including the development of retainer and flat fee project budgets, forecasting, reconciling and managing cost and fee budgets
  • Ability to develop relationships beyond Golin London, including working with IPG, Golin Global and other agencies


  • Experienced in overseeing and managing lifecycle of social media and digital projects and campaigns, including analytics and measurement programs
  • Thorough understanding of and ability to sell-in Agency’s real-time marketing capabilities and content marketing
  • Able to deliver channel strategies beyond social & content, with knowledge of integrated / omni channel approach
  • Deliver internal and external thought leadership on emerging digital/social trends
  • Have the ability to lead, develop and execute digital programs across paid, owned and earned media
  • Experience in managing website UX, design and build processes
  • Initiate and execute measurement tools and draw insights to help influence work, partnering with Explorer Analyst peers
  • Able to collaborate with Digital Production specialists to compile clear SOWs for clients
  • Ensure specialists contribute and verify commitments made to clients

Social Listening & delivery tools

  • Have specialist knowledge and understanding of social listening and delivery tools including Relevance Radar, Sysomos & Sprinklr, as well as platform insights and tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin)
  • Understand the Agency’s real-time marketing assets/capabilities and tools, including The Bridge, AOR and the Relevance Fingerprint


Paid Media

  • Strong understanding of paid media planning, execution and reporting and the tools used to deliver these
  • The ability to direct paid media teams and agencies to deliver plans which help meet client objectives

Influencer Marketing

  • Specialism in working on Influencer programs, including the identification, recruitment and ongoing relationship management. Use or experience of specialist tools is essential (Golin use a proprietary AOR tool)
  • Expert knowledge of influencer roles within overall content mix strategy

B2B client brands

  • In-depth experience in managing global technology clients, with thorough knowledge of their individual cloud platforms, ways of working and culture
  • Particular experience in working with digital document workflow solution clients
    is essential

B2C client brands

  • Experience of B2C clients, including understanding how to drive business results through the use of social content for FMCG brands
  • Proven track record in delivering strong consumer campaigns which have delivered tangible business results through social and content

Crisis Management

  • Experience with and evidence of dealing with Global brand crisis management
  • Ability to identify and co-ordinate the relevant internal and external teams when Global brand crisis situations arise, lead the strategic response plan and oversee the delivery of across all stakeholders

Content planning and production

  • Well-versed in overseeing the delivery of a variety of content formats including photography, video, animation, illustration, editorial (short & long form) – from strategy, creative briefing and management of the teams needed to deliver
  • Excellence in building and delivering content strategies and calendars for brands across multiple sectors, based on brand objectives, campaigns and events
  • Specialist understanding of the creation of motion video content which is created directly for social channel broadcast for FMCG and B2B brands – this includes detailed understanding of client platforms and what drives performance, briefing scripts and storyboards and working experience of live video shoots for social campaigns
  • Experience in event coverage, in particular global technology events, including the real time use of social platforms and broadcast media
  • Proven track-record in the planning and management of experiential or stunt activity for the purposes of content creation – including working with internal and external production teams, venues, legal teams and talent (including celebrities and influencers)
