JMWGolin Launches: A Joint Venture by Golin and JMW

Agencies create new Nordic partnership in Sweden

STOCKHOLM (MAR 23, 2017) – Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) agency Golin announced a new strategic partnership today with communications company JMW to form JMWGolin. This new hub will offer integrated communication and creative expertise to the Nordic region.

 Golin is one of the world’s most acclaimed and far-reaching communications networks, with over 50 offices around the globe. It was one of the first PR agencies to expand its offering by channeling independent communications, resulting in major European growth.

JMW is run by Chairman Björn Mellstrand, CEO Louise Leo and creatives Joakim Karlsson and Samuel Garlöv. Their executive leadership board also includes Daniel Berg, CEO of Scream Mediabyrå. As part of the JMWGolin launch, Sofia Heidenberg, founder of Golin Sweden, will also join the board.

Golin has previously been on the Swedish market as part of MullenLowe. Through its strategic partnership with JMW, Golin will now be able to actively shape its own offering with the Nordic market.

JMW has grown steadily in recent years, with 2016 expansion a reported 7%.
