To announce that Cinemaxx is now Cinépolis, Cinépolis conducted a press conference at Cinépolis Pejaten Village mall as the first Cinépolis cinema outlet in Jakarta. Besides the press, a group of movie enthusiasts were also invited to have a full cinema experience at Cinépolis and to boost the hype about the opening of Cinépolis on social media and blog articles afterwards. Both the press and movie enthusiasts had a chance to enjoy Star Wars cosplay performance and cinema tour, including VIP Lounge and VIP Studio, as well as to experience the advanced technology at Cinépolis for the best movie-watching experience. A series of movie trailers for the upcoming month was also aired at the studio to give a taste of what customers can experience moving forward. As the closing session, top tier media had an exclusive interview with Cinépolis spokesperson and the invitees got a chance to have a movie screening “Jumanji: The Next Level”.
