Golin Hong Kong was tasked with raising awareness about UK-based shipping company Seven Seas Worldwide’s business at a time when the industry was facing a tumultuous period during COVID-19 restrictions. As the global hub team, we launched ‘The Global Movement Report,’ a multi-market study focused on the motivations behind people movement despite the global climate, collaborating with Golin teams in New York, Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Johannesburg and Hong Kong itself. Together with a bank of stories, our creative team brought the report to life through visual depictions of the data for use on the website, social media, digital, broadcast and print press.
Seven Seas Worldwide was positioned as the movement authority: the report generated over 140 earned articles, a +415% spike in views on the brand’s Facebook page compared to baseline with link clicks jumping to over 10,000, Instagram followers growing +9% and key posts on LinkedIn receiving over 20,000 impressions and 70 click-throughs. On Twitter, posts received 121,000 impressions – a 379% increase over the baseline, as well as a 5% increase in followers.
