Golin Hires Gareth Davies As Integrated Media Lead

We are excited to introduce Gareth Davies as Golin London’s new Head of Integrated Media.

In this newly-created role, Gareth will build out Golin’s integrated media capabilities to help deliver more audience-led and channel agnostic thinking. He will also strengthen our connections within the IPG network.

“We’ve long seen the power of ideas that can travel anywhere. Coming off the success of our ASICS Dramatic Transformations work that started in owned, blew up in earned and reached into paid, we saw an opportunity to broaden our expertise and encourage our teams to take a more integrated approach. It’s the way that Gareth naturally approaches the work. He brings vast integrated expertise, experience and energy that he’s already putting to good use on key clients and by informing Golin’s renewed global planning Playbook,” said Kat Arnull, Chief Strategy Officer.

Gareth brings more than 20 years’ communications experience to Golin having led UK, EMEA and global accounts for B2B and B2C brands including Shutterstock, Deloitte and Patreon. Most recently, Gareth was responsible for leading global integrated campaigns for technology and B2B clients at MikeWorldWide London. He brings a wealth of integrated media experience having grown and led digital and integrated comms teams and is highly skilled in bringing together paid, earned and owned media channel campaigns.

“It’s no secret that lines are increasingly blurred between channels and more briefs are challenging us to deliver an integrated response, yet PR agencies can sometimes be guilty of pigeonholing their response to an earned brief. I was impressed by Golin’s commitment to delivering integrated work and my role is to truly embed these practices, ensuring we deliver best-in-class integrated thinking across every part of the agency,” said Gareth Davies.
