Patton to partner with U.S. Managing Director Jaimee Reggio to oversee health leadership operations, client service and growth across the U.S.

SAN FRANCISCO (March 21st, 2024) – Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) agency Golin announced today the appointment of Erin Patton as executive vice president, associate managing director (AMD) of Golin Health, the agency’s specialized healthcare communications practice. Based in San Francisco, she will support the entire U.S. operation with a primary focus on growth, client service, innovations and talent development. Patton joined the agency last month as the first-ever healthcare AMD, reporting to Jaimee Reggio, U.S. managing director, Golin Health and Virgo Health.

Bringing more than 20 years of pharmaceutical and biotech experience from both the agency side and in-house to this post, Patton is skilled at bridging the gap between client challenges and agency solutions. She has a background rooted in the development and management of science, healthcare professional and patient-focused campaigns for leading biopharma companies, as well as a track record for developing programs that destigmatize conditions, raise awareness of diseases and move physicians and patients to act. Most recently at Seagen Inc., Patton played a vital role in successfully communicating about oncology drug discovery and development, precision medicines, and the impact of policies on innovation in these areas.

“Erin brings an extensive background in life sciences and health communications, with the ability to help clients navigate increasingly complex data, regulatory and policy challenges,” said Reggio. “Erin’s expertise combined with her acumen for agency operations, skill in cultivating high-performing teams, and talent for driving growth make her the perfect partner as we work together to bring health within reach for more.”

In this newly created role, Patton will support the agency’s largest assignments, bringing new perspectives, innovations and IP to help clients solve business challenges currently facing the life science industry. She also plans to expand on the theme of “collaboration” to bring together the agency’s best practices, resources and talent to best support its clients.

“I am thrilled to join Golin Health, bringing added perspective on the business challenges biopharmaceutical clients face in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape,” said Patton. “Golin is creating award-winning work that shows the power of insightful and inclusive communications in shaping a healthier world. I am excited to support this talented team and partner with our clients to achieve measurable results.”
