Industry-leading creative to fuel Golin’s creative ambition.
LONDON (June 06, 2024) – Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) agency, Golin, today appoints one of the industry’s most awarded creative talents, Kim Allain, as Associate Creative Director into its growing creative team. Listed as one of The Drum’s 50 under 30 Top Female Creatives, a PRWeek 30 Under 30 inductee and the current co-lead of PRWeek’s Creative Mentorship programme, Allain will work into Golin’s recently promoted Chief Creative Officer, Al Wood, as the agency bolsters its creative operations.
In her new role, Kim will work across the agency’s client roster, developing creative concepts and leveraging partnerships to push the boundaries of Golin’s culturally-connected, earned-led work that creates change that matters for our clients.
Allain has most recently worked at MSL, as well as stints at Talker Tailor Trouble Maker and Cake, delivering multiple award-winning campaigns, including viral hit PUMA’s Cali Star Challenge. During her career, she has used her deep cultural insights, connections within entertainment and passion for game-changing, purpose-led creative to direct accounts such as Deliveroo, PUMA UK, Subway, Currys as well as to create interesting talent partnerships for the likes of Mastercard and its premiere sponsorship of the Brits.
“Our industry is in a time of change and evolution – and for me Golin felt like the perfect home for me to also grow and evolve. The work from Al and the team is so impressive, and I’m excited to bring my experience of working in culture, entertainment and understanding new audiences to Golin’s creative offering,” said Kim Allain, Associate Creative Director, Golin London.
Alex Wood, Chief Creative Officer, Golin London, said, “Kim’s a brilliant and passionate creative with a ton of great, culturally-connected work under her belt. As we continue to grow the team and our ambition for earned-first, integrated creative, she was a natural choice. I can’t wait for what comes next.”
Allain’s hire follows Al Wood’s promotion to Chief Creative Officer for Golin London last month, with the remit to build on Golin’s exceptional creative growth and 21-strong integrated creative team.
