Chicago, Illinois (March 18, 2025) — Golin, an Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) agency, was named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025, earning a number four – out of 10 – ranking in the Public Relations and Brand Strategies category. This year’s list shines a spotlight on businesses that are shaping industry and culture through their innovations to set new standards and achieve remarkable milestones in all sectors of the economy.

The most notable and globally recognized example of innovation occurred last June when Golin made history as the first PR agency to win a Cannes Lions Grand Prix in Public Relations, followed by a second Grand Prix in Audio, both with client Specsavers’ for “The Misheard Version” work. Awarded as an innovative campaign transforming a misheard song into an engaging hearing test, the work raised awareness for hearing loss and promoted hearing technology while using humor and a beloved Rick Astley classic hit song. The campaign earned six total Cannes Lions across Audio & Radio, PR and Health & Wellness categories.

Golin has a history of demonstrating innovation and exemplifying a key principle from its founder, Al Golin, to, “fix it before it breaks.” Most recently, the agency invested in an ambition to become the first fully AI-integrated global PR agency by 2026. By activating a “people-first” approach, the transformation combines technology, talent development and client integration to experiment and apply AI-enabled client solutions across its adoption goals.

Celebrating this year’s esteemed list, the World’s Most Innovative Companies is Fast Company‘s signature franchise and most anticipated annual editorial feature. The selection process involves editors and writers examining companies advancing progress globally across industries, evaluating thousands of competitive applications. The final list serves as a comprehensive global guide to current innovation, featuring organizations ranging from emerging startups to established industry leaders.
