We’re looking for a Creative Director/Writer to not only lead a team of talented creatives, but get their hands dirty and create award-winning work. You’ll do it with your internet-breaking earned first approach, generating impactful ideas that grab national headlines and break the Internet.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Job #1 is to bring the freshest, most inspired, most unexpected thinking that solves a client’s problem.
- Quickly develop big creative ideas and engaging copy that can live across multiple channels – paid, social, online, media events, activations, etc.
- Put together slick and polished presentations that not only communicate ideas but sell them.
- Present work internally and externally in a strategic and passionate manner.
- Push the creative envelope…looking for opportunities big or small to make the work better
- Creatively-driven but business-minded – You will need to have an understanding of the business climate for our clients and the impact or opportunity for creative ideas/executions.
- Collaborate with other creatives, strategists, media, digital and account teams to ensure our work is always relevant, strategically sound and headline worthy.
- Creating thumb stopping content and heart stopping ideas
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, working in an agency setting.
- 10+ years’ creative experience in public relations, advertising or social. Knowledge of earned media is vital.
- A creative portfolio that’s filled with smart thinking.
- Internet fluency. You know the ins and outs of social media, speak the language of the internet, have gone down YouTube rabbit holes for multiple hours in a row, have uploaded multiple TikTok videos and have explored without fear the inner depths of Reddit.
- You’re a genuinely good person who brings energy every single day to your work and to the agency.
- A strong, charismatic presenter, exceptional listener, with a proven ability to think big
- A collaborator with a proven ability to build trust and respect with internal partners and clients
- Experience with and/or passion for social/emerging media and mobile technologies
- Experience developing integrated campaigns that are earned-first, inherently social
- Deep knowledge of digital, social, traditional and influencer communications
- Hands on creative, who is a highly conceptual thinker and a clear communicator
- Strong desire to collaborate, with a positive demeanor and vision for the future
- Must love dogs and/or cats
Salary Range: $100 p/h
Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
