Senior Manager, Insights and Analytics

Chicago, Illinois, United States

Golin is seeking a Senior Manager, Insights and Analytics to join our Chicago team. This opportunity is for anyone who loves to solve problems, make strategic recommendations, and consult on social and earned media campaigns, having an immediate impact.

For this specific role, you should have a skillset that includes several analytics-related competencies. This role is about connecting the dots, looking at media coverage and understanding what’s working and what’s not, and using your findings to make a strategic recommendation for our clients.

From there, you have to sell it; you need to be a data storyteller. This can take the form of a quick, but well-informed email, a call with clients, or a formal presentation deck with cool visualizations which help you tell your story. That’s why our ideal candidate not only has data experience and can read the numbers, but at their core, is a great marketer and communicator.

Sounds like you want to “Go All In” with us? Here are the details:

What You'll Do:

  • Help lead pieces of the business, managing several projects and workstreams to deliver award-winning work on time and on budget
  • Serve as a creative, analytical mind on the team to provide strategic recommendations for developing and improving digital and social media campaigns

  • Demonstrate masterful storytelling: mining and synthesizing varied sets of data for omnichannel views, displaying data visually and creatively, developing powerful presentations with concise, impactful narratives and timely, actionable learnings tied to business objectives
  • Stay up to date on all platforms and spot emerging trends in the earned, social, media, and consumer landscape; be a pop culture junkie
  • Analyze earned content for trends and patterns that inform recommended actions
  • Think strategically and be insightful with the ability to tell a story that converts data into actionable insights
  • Be a creative, analytical mind on the team, supporting the development of strategic recommendations across earned and social media campaigns
  • Understand client background and needs, including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors in the marketplace
