Manager - Influencer

Golin Toronto is seeking a dynamic and experienced Influencer Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a keen understanding of influencer marketing, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with influencers across various platforms.

This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and exceptional communication skills to drive successful influencer campaigns that align with our clients' goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and Execute Influencer Strategies: Create comprehensive influencer marketing strategies that align with client objectives and brand messaging.
  • Identify and Engage Influencers: Research and identify key influencers across various social media platforms. Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers and agencies to ensure successful collaborations.
  • Tracking: Create and maintain a database of influencer relationships, engagement rates, and past campaign performance.
  • Contract Negotiations: Lead influencer contract negotiations, including rates, deliverables, and usage rights; Manage vendor set-up for all influencers, ensuring you have the appropriate insurance and declarations set-up for programs and campaigns.
  • Campaign Management: Develop influencer briefs and creative direction documents; Oversee the execution of influencer campaigns from inception to completion. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, meet client expectations, and achieve desired results.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with influencers to generate compelling and authentic content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Event and Activations: Work collaboratively with the team and our partners to create compelling experiences for consumers, influencers and content creators.
  • Client Counsel: Provide counsel and education to clients on the influencer landscape in Canada, and beyond; keep apprised of what is happening in the space and ensure clients and the team are up to date and leveraging new opportunities.
  • Manage Issues: Manage any issues that may arise in a professional and thoughtful manner; consult the necessary internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Base: You’ll hold the knowledge and intelligence for a wide range of clients and projects; you’ll manage files and ensure all campaign items are organized and streamlined.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns. Provide detailed reports and insights to clients, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement; you’ll help set and track KPIs.
  • Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI for clients; track all OOP costs and ensure influencers are paid in a timely manner.
  • Stay Current with Trends: Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in influencer marketing. Continuously seek new opportunities to innovate and improve campaign strategies.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in influencer marketing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Fluent in social media and social platforms including TikTok, IG, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, etc.
  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for content creation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Budget management experience

Salary range: $55,000 - $95,000

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
