Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join our Consumer team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative PR strategies, cultivating strong client relationships, and driving impactful media coverage for consumer brands.

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned consumer PR clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals, challenges, and industry landscape
  • Collaborate with clients to develop PR strategies aligned with their business objectives
  • Proactively pitch consumer-focused stories to national, regional, and trade media outlets
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, bloggers, and influencers
  • Secure high-impact media placements
  • Create compelling press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, and other written materials
  • Lead the execution of integrated PR campaigns, coordinating with internal teams and external partners
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including account managers, creatives, and digital specialists, to deliver integrated solutions for clients
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on client management, media relations, and professional development

Experience

  • Experience in consumer PR, preferably within an agency environment
  • Proven track record of securing media coverage for consumer brands across traditional and digital channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
