Our Tesco design and build

CHALLENGE

Tesco needed a platform to boost staff engagement; a dedicated space where colleagues could create communities, share stories and discover important news.

IDEA

Our Tesco features a dedicated news stream for Tesco news and staff views, and offers the opportunity for staff to upload their own content to the site, while still promoting Tesco’s brand values. An app allows colleagues to upload views, news and pictures direct from their mobile.

To support data security requirements, the back-end system handles the simple to use registration process, validating employee data against a live feed from Tesco. This keeps secure information and staff-only news and benefits behind a login.

RESULTS

  • Over 28,000 employees signed up in first two months
  • That’s almost 10% of its employees signing up in first 60 days
  • Users spend an average of 7 minutes absorbing content on the site.
